I'm Heather Buckley, a North Texas wedding photographer specializing in timeless, true to color imagery that captures both the joy of the moment and the heartfelt images that become part of your family's story.

With me, you get the best of both worlds. My photography style isn’t overly dark and moody, nor is it super light and airy. Instead, I focus on true-to-color tones with bright, clean whites — a timeless look that ensures you’ll love your photos just as much in 10 years as you do today.

Over the years, my approach to photography has grown deeper and more meaningful.

Becoming a mom and experiencing the loss of loved ones  including my grandparents and close family friends has reminded me just how powerful a single photo can be.

 

I’ve seen clients share images I’ve taken of people they’ve lost — and I don’t take that lightly. These aren’t just photos… they’re memories, legacies, and pieces of time we can hold on to.

 

That’s my “why.”

 

My love for photography began in high school, when I borrowed my mom’s camera and started capturing everyday life on our six-acre property.

That passion led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art & Photography in 2014, and not long after, I packed up my 4Runner and moved to Texas to chase my dreams.

 

I never imagined I’d end up in the small town of Howe, Texas, but photography brought me here  and meeting my husband made it feel like home.

 

Now, I live a simple, sweet life in a cozy farmhouse with my husband and our two girls.

You’ll often find me on our back porch with a glass of wine, lost in a good book and unapologetically embracing my role as the biggest Harry Potter nerd you’ll ever meet.
